What makes it different is what it leaves off. There is no elastic skirt. It is a flat quilted pad that lies on the mattress edge to edge, so there is no pocket to fit and nothing to bunch. Put your fitted sheet over the top and the pad stays where you put it. A CinchFit sheet holds it best of all.

That also means one pad fits any depth of mattress, from a 6 inch bunk to a deep pillow top, and it lifts straight off for washing without stripping the whole bed.

Built for shallow pocket mattresses

Most pads assume a mattress 12 to 18 inches deep. Boat berths, RV and camper bunks, dorm mattresses and V Berths are nothing close, and on a 5 or 6 inch mattress that deep skirt has nowhere to go. It hangs loose, folds under you and bunches into a ridge you feel all night.

Ours solves that by not having one. Shallow pocket does not mean thin, either: the pad is generously filled and diamond quilted, so a firm berth or bunk mattress gets real comfort without the added height that would throw off your sheet fit. On an odd shaped or angled mattress, the extra padding can be fitted around the sides or tucked neatly underneath.

Hard to find split top sizes

Split adjustable bases chew through ordinary bedding. Lift the head end and a skirted pad bunches immediately, then works loose over a few nights of position changes.

So we make the sizes almost nobody else does: Split Top Queen, Split Top King and Split Top Cal King, each with a 35 inch split so the head end moves on its own, and Split King as two separate pads, one for each side of the base. Pair them with our CinchFit Adjustable Bed Sheets and the bed stays made, flat or sitting up.

Hand sewn, which is the whole point

Each pad is finished and hand sewn in our own American workroom, by the same hands that make our CinchFit sheets. That is exactly why it can be cut to shallow pocket, split top and V Berth shapes the big bedding mills do not offer. American made is not a badge we bought. It is the reason the fit works.
